PDF has features for inter-active forms. These forms have live check boxes and radio buttons, pull-down lists for selections and text boxes for data entry. Lastly, there is a SUBMIT button that causes the form data to get sent for "processing" any of some number of ways.

I can use various tools to create a page that looks like a form.
I can add interactive elements to HTML pages.
I can add interactive elements to OpenOffice documents.
I can use other tools and make that page into a PDF document.

Q1: Which tools let me add these interactive elements to PDF forms? (I know there are Adobe(tm) tools available.)

I think you can do this with Scribus, but haven't tried it.

Can someone who really knows Scribus confirm or deny that it can create and manipulate interactive PDF-forms?
