Question Too many dropped Frames in Video playback(full screen mode)

I have configured Xorg to use 'via' driver. I have 32Mb onboard video memory.
When I play any video on any player(xine, kaboodle, mplayer) playback is very very slow and many frames are dropped in full screen mode.
In fedora core5 I didn't have this problem. And it worked well in windows also.

My configuration is as below. Any help appreciated.

Have you checked if 3d-accelartion is really enabled?

run /usr/X11/bin/glxinfo |grep direct

I only this problem if there is no 3d acceleration enabled.

Depends on your graphics adapter.
What chipset do you have?

You need the correct driver probably.
