tinyproxy and evolution problem

I am using two Linux machine.
On one machine, I configured tinyproxy server.
On the other machine, I configured the proxy settings. Now I am able to surf web. But not able send/receive email by using evolution.

On both machine, I am using Fedora14 Linux.

When I try to send/receive emails, tinyproxy generate rsyslog like :-
tinyproxy[929]: Error reading readble client_fd 5

I disabled the firewall, machine which runs tinyproxy.

Thanks, In advance.

tinyproxy is for the HTTP protocol only. It will forward anything, a webbrowser asks for, but nothing else.

evolution uses the SMTP protocol. This is for email only. tinyproxy will not forward it.

I suppose you do not want a HTTP proxy, but "IP forwarding" and "NAT" on the machine that runs tinyproxy.

I don't know how to do this easily on Fedora14, but there are plenty of tutorials on how to do this on the command line for any linux.
