Startup Programs and NUM Lock

I have a few questions. On one of my systems, I am currently rinning PCLinuxOS 2007, and would like the NUM lock function to be automatically enabled when the system boots. Also, how do I get applets to start when KDE does? I would like to have kwikdisk and krandrtray appear in the system tray when I log in. Is the procedure the same under PCLinuxOS 2007 and Kubuntu?

To activate numlock on bootup do: Alt & F2, type mcc, click run, enter root password. Now go to System--> Enable or disable the system services, scroll down to Numlock and put a checkmark where is says On boot.

For kwikdisk: start the program, then make sure you have restore previous session selected in your KDE Control Centre--> KDE Components--> Session Manager.
