Starting minimal Xfce4

Sorry, I really don't know better title for my question.

I'd like to start Xfce4 without any extra stuff like xfce4-panel, taskbar, calendar etc.

Previously I had 'exec startxfce4' in my ~/.xinitrc, and now I've tried many compinations of 'exec xfdesktop', 'exec xfwm4' and 'exec xfce-mcs-manager', but it does not work correctly. If I remove 'exec xfdesktop', then it works (window manager works, settings works, only wallpaper is missin) and I can run xfdesktop from console to get wallpaper shown. But is there any other solution so I wouldn't need to manually run xfdesktop?
