Solving the Direct Rendering issue (DRI).

Okay, so here it is, i have two xorg files which are almost identical. One remodified by me and one entirely made by aticonfig.
So i thought i would post them here, and let us all try and solve this pussle together.

Mine (no DRI):
Code:
# xorg.conf.dpkg-new (Xorg X Window System server configuration file)
#
# This file was generated by dexconf, the Debian X Configuration tool, using
# values from the debconf database.
#
# Edit this file with caution, and see the xorg.conf.dpkg-new manual page.
# (Type "man xorg.conf.dpkg-new" at the shell prompt.)
#
# This file is automatically updated on xserver-xorg package upgrades *only*
# if it has not been modified since the last upgrade of the xserver-xorg
# package.
#
# If you have edited this file but would like it to be automatically updated
# again, run the following commands as root:
#
# cp /etc/X11/xorg.conf.dpkg-new /etc/X11/xorg.conf.dpkg-new.custom
# md5sum /etc/X11/xorg.conf.dpkg-new >/var/lib/xfree86/xorg.conf.dpkg-new.md5sum
# dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg

I myself will chow through these and see what i can come up with, i have tried switching off AIGLX and composites, and also writing DRI section in big, so those are not the issues.

I did yes, and it didden't work, also read the link to another thread, that you posted.
Nothing helped, and now my DRI is working because i used aticonfig, but i'm not sattisfied with this as the xorg.conf looks like ground zero :P
Besides i wan't to find out which little option it is that enables DRI, because (Load "dri") and (Section "DRI" 0666 EndSection) are NOT the ones that ensure DRI is working...
They might be part of it, but what other part of xorg.conf does it require to run?
