Snap to grid does not work in kde
 

How can I enable snap to grid in kde? Right-click>Icons>"Align to grid" does not work. (I am using Folder View). Is there something that I need to install? I originally had Lubuntu installed, then I followed the instuctions on that psychocats page to get rid of all the lubuntu files and installed kubuntu-desktop. Maybe I, or psychocats, missed something.

Solved - created symbolic links instead of launchers, which is a lot easier and faster. For example:

ln -s /usr/share/applications/audacity.desktop ~/Desktop/audacity (or use drag&drop)

ln -s ~/Documents ~/Desktop/Documents

etc.

Snap to grid will work with links.
