Question Skydome Images for Beryl

I know that I should be using Compiz Fusion, direct me to a working "how to" for an ATI R9550 rv350 video card and I may try to install it again. You would have to prove to me that it works. I'm from Missouri.

Anyhow for Beryl, I am trying to place a wallpaper on the Skydome. I havent been able to. so tell me what is the secret. I have see the popup that states the screen or the image has to be divisible by 2 ie. 1024,
2048, 4096, That is all the info I can get.if there is a manual for Beryl I would like to get it. I also would like to have the cube docked zoomed and allow gdesklets docked to the screen, any ideas on that would be appreciated. Thanks, Darrell

That's all done from the beryl manager

desktop .. options .. stick sticky windows to screen.
desktop .. skydome tab ... skydome image.

To have more than four desktops:

general options .. main .. horizontal virtual size

Thumbs up Thanks for the help.

Thanks for the help. It narrowed down what I was looking for. and with a little more deduction. I figured it out. The skydome had to have a pic that was sized both ways /2 ie 1024x1024, 2048x2048, usw. The sticky windows Desktop/Desktop Cube/stick Sticky Windo.....s had to be checked and the desklets had to be configured to stay on top when the desklets are slide closed they dock to the cube. I've posted a screenshot on my website

http://webpages.charter.net/papillonrus/const

I resized it to 800x600 just click on the thumbnail it will open in a popup (single Click). The only thing I have left is to dock the cube in Zoom as it is shown. I cheated, I used a 5 second delay on the screenshot. Anyway Thanks for the Help, Darrell

Here, lets see if I can parse this sentence...

Here in one of my threads in www.ubuntuforums.org, posted from when I was an Ubuntu user. Now I am a fedora 7 user."

Please study that sentence and get back to me if I got it wrong.

FWIW: the thread contains links to "cool skydome pics".
