Show useful names/labels in Konqueror media:/

[Log in to get rid of this advertisement]
If I point Konqueror 3.5.9 at media:/ then I get a list of the partitions on my harddisk. They have rather unhelpful names such as '110G Media' and '53G Media'.

Anyone know how to get Konqueror to show something useful there instead? I'm thinking the mount point for that volume would probably be most useful.

You can right click, Properties on any drive and type in a new name in the dialog box.

Glad I can help. It happens to the best of us.

I do not have an NTFS partition to try. But prehaps you could try changing the name from the root account? Alt+F2 "kdesu konqueror" (sans quotes).
