Resetting window sizes and locations on KDE 4.3

I'm using KDE 4.3.1. Do you folks know if there's a way to reset the sizes and locations of the application windows to their default values? In Windows, I know this can be done by clearing the 'window size-location cache'. Thanks in advance.

Hmm... no replies. I realize that the question I asked was a rather wierd and Microsoftish one. Maybe nobody knows how it can be done? In that case, could one of you post a reply that goes something like: 'As a Linux guru, I don't know how to do this, and don't think it's possible'? That would help put things in perspective for me. Thanks.

I don't use KDE, but I like your post. You could try something like Advanced>Special Window Settings or whatever it is under the left titlebar button menu thing. If that doesn't help by unsetting or resetting, you could try hunting in the ~/.kde directory (unless they've moved it under the XDG dirs) and look for the files controlling your settings. If you can find something specific about the setting you don't like, you can try something like

find ~/.kde -iname '*APPNAME*' -exec grep -H SOMETHING_SPECIFIC {} \;

which might show you which file to edit manually or delete. Failing that, I'm afraid you'd have to blow out your settings or live with it. Good luck.
