Remote Printing with CUPS

I have tried a number of distros, some quite good, some impossible. But no matter what, I can't get any of them to print from my wired networked P II to a Windows XP computer in the next room.
I have set the XP to allow shared printing on my Epson Stylus Photo 750. The two computers are connected by Samba (Lin Neighborhood) and can share files.
In the CUPs configuration there is a line to put in the address of the printer. I suspect this is where I'm going wrong.
Can someone help, with copious and clear examples? Or am I doint something else wrong?
It's a small annoyance to have to walk fifty feet to print something, but I'd still like to solve the problem.

Are you using the correct format for the remote printing address?

I have found that using the browser is the best way to configure CUPS. You can access it on your machine at: http://localhost:631/

For the actual address of the device, you need to use the following format: smb://hedgehog/SamsungM, where "smb://" is the access type samba, "hedgehog" is the name of my Win2K machine, and "SamsungM" is the name of the printer exported from that machine.

My cups device address is similar to Quakeboy02's. The printer is accessed by Suse 10.2 box wired to XP box.

smb://<network ip of xp machine>/<printer Sharename on XP>

if the printer name and printer sharename are different, use the printer sharename.
