Remote Desktop login with card reader

All,
I have Suse 10.2 and I log into some secured servers via a USB cardreader and an ID card. This works fine through XP but I'm having troubles telling the system to read my card when I go into Remote Desktop in Suse. I see that the hardware can see my card via Yast, hardware, hardware information. SO, how do I tell the remote desktop to read the information from my card when loggin into my remote NT server?
