Recover NTFS !


I accidently deleted some files and directories of my /dev/sda8 that is my NTFS partition by rm -rf

How can I recover it ?

I know testdisk and I think that is for damage partition not some files of a partition thta deleted is it currect?

ntfs progs (http://www.linux-ntfs.org/doku.php?id=ntfsprogs) has a utility that should be able to recover your files. i thing its something like ntfs-recover or something like that. I once was able to have to search for all files the matched a specific expression and recover them.

I was able to copy some corrupted files from a NTFS partition
using these instructions ... you might try to find those files.
