rc.local systemd

Hello guys,

What is the right way to implement rc.local in systemd? Though rc.local still works (I have only tried Fedora16), I think the right way is the systemd implementation.

Though the fedora doc here http://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/..._Sysadmin.html says that rc.local is not packaged, it does not suggest the right way.

Please point me to the right place if there is a documentation on this available already.

Thanks

Hi syg00,

Is rc.local (which I think is sysVinit way) is still the right way? Or if it can be performed through the new systemd how?

Thanks

https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Systemd
Quote:
/etc/rc.local and /etc/rc.local.shutdown can be run at startup and shutdown by enabling rc-local.service and rc-local-shutdown.service.

Thanks very much rng. That wiki looks very promising; I will go through it.
