Quickly switching KDE 3.5 translations

Hi All

I currently have two languages set up in the Languages in the KDE Control Panel for KDE 3.5. I can't figure out anyway to quickly switch between them without going back into the control panel, moving the language I want to use to the top and then either restarting the program I'm using or logging back into kde. I imagine this should be possible because I cannot foresee any other reason as to why you can have multiple languages installed at one time with the option of changing their order?

Please note that I am not talking about keyboard layouts. I have no problem there and can easily switch the keyboard layout with the icon that appears in the taskbar.

If anyone has any ideas that would be great because I often only need to switch the translation to read one or two things and having to change the global language to do so gets a little tiring.

Thanks

I'd solve this like this:

K - Switch User - Start new session

Login to kde. Set up the other language.

Switch back to your original login with <CTRL><ALT><F7>, switch to the other language session with CTRL><ALT><F8> (or is it F9? I forget)

If you don't like using the keyboard to switch you can also do it with K - Switch user, and then choose the other login from the list.
That list will also show you which session is on which virtual terminal Eg VT8 is on <CTRL><ALT><F8>.

Thanks for the idea tredegar. I hadn't thought of that and in the absence of any other easier method I may give that a try.
