Is there anything I am missing here?

I tried to generate putty logs but it is blank.

check /var/log/messages or secure files to see new entries when you try to login.
You can use tcpdump to see if traffic is reaching the server when you initiate and SSH connection on client side.
permissions of the home folder and .ssh folder should be 700 only, if you are using passwordless authentication.
You can also run ssh -v for more verbose output.

please install Fedora 25 ASAP
Fedora 20 went End Of Life back on "2015-06-23"
20 is missing almost TWO YEARS!!!!! of security fixes


Fedora 26 will be released soon


also fedora uses SystemD
most log files are not in "/var/log" anymore
you need to run " systemd-journalctl " or " journalctl "
