problems with optiquest q9 monitor under geforce 7300LE

maximum resolution that is aviable from nvidia-settings is 1360x768.
i want to set resolution 1280x1024. i've tried to add modeline to xorg.conf file but nvidia's driver said that there is no valid modes for 1280x1024 (i've used online tool for modeline calculation).

ps os is debian unstable
