problem with geraphic card and xorg

Hello

i'll be thankfull if guide me .
i have a 32 mg geraphic card that is TNT2 but i can not find card name .
i see a Holtek chip on it .

gnome does not start.
i reconfigured xserver-xorg with the VGA driver .
but there is one error in xorg.0.log :
Code:
"(EE) AIGLX:screen 0 is not dri capable"
How can i fix this ?

what linux distro are you using ?
is the card listed when you run

dmesg
(may need to run those prefixed with sudo or run as root)

Distro : debian etch 4 32 bit
this lspci result:

01:00:0 VGA compatible controller :nViidia Corporation NV6 [vanta] (rev 15)
