Introduction to Linux - A Hands on Guide
This guide was created as an overview of the Linux Operating System, geared toward new users as an exploration tour and getting started guide, with exercises at the end of each chapter.
For more advanced trainees it can be a desktop reference, and a collection of the base knowledge needed to proceed with system and network administration. This book contains many real life examples derived from the author's experience as a Linux system and network administrator, trainer and consultant. They hope these examples will help you to get a better understanding of the Linux system and that you feel encouraged to try out things on your own.

I am having problems with unrar using ark and kde3.5
If I unrar on set of rars in one directory it works perfect, but if I start 2 jobs at once (unrar 1 sets of files in 1 directory and another set in another )then wich ever set finishes unraring first stops both unrar processes ,so I end up with one directory having a perfect unrard file but the other has a currupt unfinished one.
This usually happens when I am unraring avi 350mb + and I usually start 2 or 3 unraring job so I can move away from the pc while they unrar
It seem as though both/all the instances of the unrar program are interacting and the one to complete the job first stops the other.
I think this is a bug but dont know weather it is with unrar kde or linux because I dont know enough about linux.
Because I dont know which is at fault if any I also dont know were to report the bug to
,any help would be appreciated or any advice on how to run unrar through kde without this happening
