Printer does not show up in Java-App after updates - Kubuntu 16.04

Hi

I have several Kubuntu 16.04 machines but all of a sudden the PDF-Printer is no longer seen by the Java-App that is running on it.

If I look in KDE - System settings -> Printers the PDF-printer is there and idle

Where do I start looking to solve the problem, I have the idea it could be something with the permissions, on 12.04 this problem is not there and until the update all was working as expected.

Do I need cups-pdf or the newer cups-printer-pdf.

Regards,
Jan

It seemed I missed some packages, after installing more cups-packages it is working again, do not know why it dropped out.
