Newbabie? That's absolutely adorable. I think you intended to say "newbie". New baby (newbabie). I am honestly laughing out loud.
I've been watching this thread to see what other people would say. Evidently I'm not the only one doing this.
Okay, down to business.
The reason that I didn't write anything immediately is that there are important details missing from your description. We need some more information in the following areas.
You are copying a file onto your disk drive. We need to know:
- Where is the file coming from? Is it coming from the Internet?
What software are you using to copy the file? Are you using a web browser? If yes then which one?
When the copy fails are you trying to save the file to /media/DCEAB4CCEAB4A3E4/ENTERTAINMENT?
If yes then are you sure that /media/DCEAB4CCEAB4A3E4/ENTERTAINMENT exists?
Is an external disk drive mounted on /media/DCEAB4CCEAB4A3E4?
What are the permissions on /media/DCEAB4CCEAB4A3E4/ENTERTAINMENT?
That should be enough to get us started.
My initial impression is that one or more of the following statements is true.
- There is no storage device mounted on /media/DCEAB4CCEAB4A3E4.
The storage media mounted on /media/DCEAB4CCEAB4A3E4 is mounted as read only.
The storage media mounted on /media/DCEAB4CCEAB4A3E4 does not have enough free space to hold the file. (Least likely. Wrong error message.)
The permission on the /media/DCEAB4CCEAB4A3E4/ENTERTAINMENT directory does not allow you to write a file there.
