PCI Video Card for Mini ATX Intel D201GLY2A board
Hi All,
I have a low profile Mini ATX desktop Intel D201GLY2A board. Presently the video is integrated SIS 662 chipset and the stupid driver does not support Open GL/3D acceleration. I am trying to install Compiz and Beryl on my Linux.
To make Compiz/Beryl I need a 3D accelerated graphics card and hence looking for one.
Here is my computer configuration.
It just has a PCI slot. I primarily need this card to enable running linux desktop effects like Beryl or Compiz etc.... Below are the computer configuration.
CPU:- Celeron 1.2GHz
Ram :- 1 GB
Integrated SIS662 as video engine (North bridge ) and south bridge is SIS664.
Only ONE PCI SLOT AVAILABLE, NO PCI Express or AGP Slot.
I am looking at the GeForce 6200LE, any recommendations from you guys? Will it support Compiz,Beryl, Can my mother board support this card?
Regards
George
