opera browser crash- ubuntu 6.10

opera dialog "opera crashed etc". dialog but browser still fully functional. I find this irritating; anyone else had this problem. No help on opera web site.

Where did you get the Opera package? If you got it from the Ubuntu repositories, uninstall it and try using the official packages from the Opera site.
