Exclamation OpenSuse 11.3 can't maximize....


Hey guys, I have the freshly installed OpenSuse 11.3 and my window looks like this:

It looks like it thinks that there is a panel on the top and the sides even though there is not.

It may not help, but you certainly could try to reset the gnome-panel back to the default configuration with

Code:
rm -r ~/.gconf/apps/panel
in the terminal of the user that is affected. Then log out and back in.

I WOULD NOT use "rm" ( delete )
but FIRST test it using " mv" ( move)
Code:
 mv ~/.gconf/apps/panel ~/.gconf/apps/panel.backup
also it looks like you have "compiz" 3d effects turned on
that might be the problem

also have you tried just using the mouse to resize the window to the size you want . Then clicking the "x" . then reopening it
