openoffice.org math PDF conversion or readability

converting a formula in oomath to PDF creates a document that has all the oomath input text displayed but has only a small section of the actual formula.

is there a way i can convert the *entire* document to PDF?(and view it afterwards!)

OR/AND

is there a file type that the .sxm files can be exported to easily that are more universally readable?

P.S. i would prefere not to download extra programs if possible...
