OCR font for printing checks

I used VersaCheck for printing blank checks for years under Win. I can't get either of my Win machines to run (NTLTR not found and no diskette drives). It's easy enough to write a program to print them. but I haven't been able to find an OCR font free or at moderate cost. The fonts on the VersaCheck CD seem to be hidden in .cab files. If I were able to read the .cab files under Linux I wonder if they would need ndiswrapper.

Search for cabextract.

Best wishes on your Linux solution.

To also fix your Windows "NTLDR is missing" issue, I have found that this solution from the Langa List will work a charm when Windows bombs with this error.

(I'm assuming that a CD drive and install disk are available.)
