aplay -l shows

but here I can't see /etc/modprobe.d/sound.con file
from aplay -l I'm getting

Create a file at '/etc/modprobe.d/sound.conf' containing:

Code:
options snd-hda-intel probe_mask=0xffff,0xfff2
Reboot.

What is the output of 'cat /proc/asound/pcm'.

Use those numbers and try to play audio.

Alsamixer won't let you change the volume, that's normal.
