No GUI in LFS 6.2-3

I tried to use LFS CD 6.2.3 but I could not get GUI screen.

On startx command,
I get the following error msg:
"

(==) : Could not open RGB_DB '/usr/lib/X11/rgb'
(WW) : I 810 (0) : Mode pool is empty
(WW) : I 810 (0) : No valid modes found
(WW) : Screens found but none have a usable configuration
"

I copied the /etc/X11/xorg.conf from my PCLOS linux and tried to use that but the same problem persists.

I have i-810 board.

I guess the first step is to post your xorg.conf...

The problem in posting the xorg file is that I don't get the GUI screen.
Anyhow I'll try to use lynx (though I am not used to it), and send the file contenets shortly.

First of allIm having similar problems

what graphics card and monitor are u using? i dont know if u can run your own xorg.conf script after startup on a live CD. If u can maybe u can modify it to replace monitor and device section to look a little bit more like your hd linux install. MAybe u can run xorg-config?

just a thought and what ill try when i get home.

I am using i810 on board graphics card.
I could run xrgconfig but still the problem persists.

Meanwhile, due to system failure, I have upgraded my system to AMD 3000+ / 1 GB RAM / Asus mobo A8V-VM and I am yet to try LFS on this.
