hi
i tryd 2 install linux on my my old system last year,but i failed, don't know why, i asked here but it did not resolve my problem, So i tryd Ubuntu
on my p4 2.68 system, i was sure i will do it this time, but still i can't install it, cd always stuck in system config, or i don't know i always see multy colour freeze screen. even few days ago i installed Ubuntu. but when i reboot my pc no windows and either Ubuntu. cant boot from xp or Ubuntu

what should i do, sucide or kill some1

Perhaps because you never followed up when someone posted some very detailed suggestions....

First, are you using a LiveCD or the "install only" CD? (I think they call it the alternative CD or something)
Please post more details on exactly what happens and at what step in the process?

When you try to reboot, what exactly happens?
