I am having seagate 2TB hard disk,dual cire pricesser,ddr3 zion ram,gigabite mother board will this configation support ubantu 12.04, after installing ubantu how can i make partition during installing.

I am not knowledgeable on hardware but distributions like Ubuntu are pretty good at supporting most hardware.
If you want us to give you advice on partitioning you will have to give us more information, like is Microsoft Windows installed? if it is do you intend on wiping it off or dual booting?
