Need help ti monitor KEEPALIVED cluster

Hello All,
I have setup a Loadbalancing cluster with two LBs
and two real servers using KEEPALIVED

All the servers are in the same netwok, each having single NIC.

Now I have configured smtp_alert,notify_master, notify_backup and
TCP_CHECK.It is working and mails are getting trigered to the specified E
mail addresses.

Is this the best option to monitor? If so how to make it more effective and
Is there any other better optin to monitor this cluster ?

Please help

Thanks and Regards.
