Mouse Only Works on One Monitor

I have a number of workstations with NVIDIA GeForce FX dual-head video cards. Until recently, I had Slackware 10 running well on 2 of them. I upgraded one of these to Slackware 12, and now I have just about everything working OK, but the mouse only works on 1 screen at a time. That is, it does not transition between monitors unless I change the resolution on the 1st monitor from the configured default of 1280x1024 to, say, 800x600, at which point the mouse cursor is shoved over to the second monitor, where it works fine, just won't go back over to the 1st unless I restart X. Anyone seen this before?

I don't know if this helps. I have SuSE and KDE desktop and am running dual monitors. I had to set the resolution to 2560x1024 so it looks like one big screen. I set it up in Configure-KDesktop (right click on screen to select).

HTH,
Michael
