mount smbfs with cifs. using kerberos ticket

Hello,

we have a windows filesystem server with AD authentication.

We would like to launch a logon script which have to mount several partitions of this filesystem, we are mainly using ubuntu 8.04.

The ubuntu desktops authenticate on the AD, using a third party product called vintela, from quest.

For the logon script we would like to use the kerberos ticket from the authentication, but looks like is not possible with the actual kernel.

Anybody have found a way to solve this issue?

many thanks.

marc

By the way, the other threads talking about this look like deadend roads. I've checked them, and since long time has past maybe somebody solved the issue.
