Most readable Computer Font for Xterm?

1 Attachment(s)
Hi Guys,

I have tried for xterm the following fonts (into .fonts)
256BYTES.ttf
Bitwise.ttf
CHECKBK0.ttf

After fc-list, you can add it to xterm:
xterm -fa "XXX" -fs 10 -bg black -fg green

But however they do not look very much readable.
Btw what about the one amiga pro (attached)?

Which computer font would you advice with xterm?

thanks and xterm rocks

It may be that your terminal is set wrong for width and height.

I always liked the green on black.

why .ttf in a terminal?
i'd use terminus.

I use DejaVu Mono: it's the most legible font I know.

I use that too. Monospace fonts are the most readable in terminals.

Adobe Source Code Pro. With Inconsolata a close second.

Hi Guys,

Please could you update your post with a quick-n-dirty screenshot to see how it might look.

I pine and I am looking forward. Thank you in advance.

You should have the DejaVu fonts installed in Debian, but you can see them here
http://dejavu-fonts.org/wiki/Main_Page
Wikipedia shows the fonts that have been mentioned, too.

Terminus or Liberation Mono.

the whole droid family has been my favorite recently - including monospace.
