middle mouse click is replaced by the dual click

I always use the dual click (click on the left and right mouse at the same time) to open newtabs in firefox, nautilus and to stop rhythombox or make it play again and such, but when you click the middle mouse button the role of the daul click stops and its replaced by the middle mouse click so when I want to open a new tab in firefox I have to use the middle button instead of the dual click like before.

Is there a way to fix this out?
I am using ubuntu 9.04
I have tried this http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...laptop-668545/ but it didnt work for me

???

You are not making much sense here.

MIDDLE-MOUSE-CLICK is equivalent to LEFT & RIGHT buttons at the same time (for those that do not have a middle button).

If you want to configure your firefox browser then go to about:config in firefox. There are many options. Perhaps enter in the filter middle to refine your options. Make your choice. Test it out.

Otherwise, the options for your mouse will be found in the file /etc/X11/xorg.conf

You could do a search on these options.

But why when I use the middle mouse click the left&right buttons at the same time stop working?
