Major artifacts when Screen Recording with Nvidia driver on mint 13
 

I have tried many different screen capture tools (record my desktop, kazam, vlc) and I always get big blue artifacts randomly popping in the final video. I'm assuming this is some conflict with the nvidia driver, but I'm not sure how to troubleshoot it.

I'm running mint 13 64bit with cinnamon. My graphics card is a gtx 670 and I'm using version 310.19 of the nvidia driver. Anyone have any ideas what could be wrong?

I've upgraded to version 310.32 of the nvidia driver and still have this issue... I really need to do screen recordings in linux. Has anyone encountered this problem? I have attached a screenshot of the artifacts created in screen recordings.
