Post Looking for free X Connectivity utility.

Hi,
Could anyone suggest any free X Connectivity software installable on windows, using which I can make a connection to a Linux client and get the desktop session. I request you to suggest tools which have session retrieval capablility.
Few of the tools which I have tried so far are:

a. Exceed Hummingbird ( This is not free. No session retrieval ).
b. Cygwin (Does not have session retrieval. Copy-paste is cumbersome)
c. Xming (Does not have session retrieval.)
d. NoMachine (One of the best, but does not support all flavours of *nix).

Please suggest.

Regards,
Sreeram

It is easier to make linux accept rdp then then make windows talk vnc

I'd recomend you install xrdp on the linux box, then windows remote desktop client can connect w/o modification.

Alternately, i've had good luck running x over ssh via putty

VNC is to slooow
