Links + gpm doesn't work non-root


The mouse (gpm-1.20.1) and links-2.1pre23 don't work together on my framebuffer console (radeonfb module) unless run as root. Gpm works fine with Vim
I know there's a patch for this somewhere out there, as seen on the gpm list archive, but I can't actually find it.
(Note: linuxquestions isn't very Links-compatible
