limewire keeps writing files...?

I know this is going to sound wierd,
but limewire keeps writing files and taking up my hard drive!!!

not the downloading once, but somekind of temporary files that take up mb/second I run limewire.
when I turn LW off they get deleted, but it's annoying.

does anyone know how/if this could be avoided?

thanks for your time

I am not sure about the limwire problem. But you could try using frostwire. It is pretty much a gnuttella client and an exact clone of limewire. The key difference is that limewire runs on java and frostwire is running on linux itself.

EDIT: I just figured out frostwire runs on java, too. lol. But you could giv it a try anyway.
