I am using FC5 with Gnome and wanted to try out kopete & Konqueror.
So I did "yum -y install kdenetwork kdenetwork-devel qca-tls"
After long long time the process finally got over and I could see kopete in Applications->Internet->Kopete(without icon). There was no response on clicking it
Tried to run it from terminal and got this message
>kopete
"kopete: error while loading shared libraries: libkabc.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"
Similarly when I tried to run konqueror from terminal I got following message
>konqueror
"konqueror: error while loading shared libraries: libkparts.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"

since yum completed sucessfully and should have installed all dependencies I don't know what to do next
Can anybody help me in this regard?

you seem to be missing the libs libkabc.so.1 libkparts.so.2
did some search and found out that you would need to install
kdelibs

Installing kdelibs-3.5.4-0.1.fc5.i386.rpm pkg made both apps work.
Wonder how yum messed it up/missed it ?

Edit: was so sure of yum that didn't even search for them in rpm.pbone.net
