KDE Sessions menu
KDE 3.5.4 in Centos 5.9
How can I put the KDE Sessions menu in a more convenient place? The only way I know to reach the KDE Sessions menu is to have the "Desktop menu bar" pinned to the top of the screen. I don't want to waste full time screen space on that menu bar, but I want easy access to the sessions menu. In an earlier version of KDE (in Mepis) something like the sessions menu was a sub menu of the main K Menu button. That was convenient. I never really figured out how to customize KDE in that older version and don't have a clue yet in this version. On the sessions menu, there is a "start new session" choice, which I can't find elsewhere. I did various google searches and found many places where I'm told that choice is still on the menu where it was in Mepis (It most certainly is not) and I found many places where other people asked how to get that choice back and were given a wide variety of totally incorrect answers. |
