Question KDE no "notify sound"

[Log in to get rid of this advertisement]
Hello,

In KDE, I'm not able to get the system sound to play (ex. alert, ding & dong). Although the sound is playing in Amarok music player or Skype...
Weird. I have disabled artsd because it was constantly eating up 85% of my CPU resources!!! Is this the problem?

Thanks

Claude
