KDE 4.x ?
Not sure if this is the right forum or not -feel free to redirect me if necessary...
I'm running several Fedora 7 and Fedora 8 machines - all with KDE 3.x I would like to try KDE 4.x. Is it possible to install that on one of my existing machines without removing KDE3? Can I switch between the 2? Or should I just wait until Fedora 9 comes out with KDE4 and use it then? If I can install it now, are there tutorials or documentation that describe how to make it run side by side with KDE3? thanks, nbc |
On openSUSE, KDE3 and KDE4 can be installed side by side and you can switch between the two. I am sure the same would apply to Fedora, but I am not sure if the Fedora developers have released KDE4 for Fedora 8. KDE4 will definitely be in Fedora 9.
