KDE4 has finally converted me, and I've gone experimenting. Nothing broke - yet.
Karamba has stumped me so far though. Anything for Karamba from KDE-look.org always fails to be installed when using 'Install from Local File' on the Add new Widgets bar. Some of them come within a tar.gz/bz2 archive, which fails. Some of them come as .skz files, which also fail. And some get extracted and aren't either, which again, fails.
So what I'm trying to understand is
A: why is Karamba refusing anything from KDE-look.org
B: Where do successfully installed (if there is such a thing) Karamba things get put?
and C: can you just extract a tar.gz/bz2 one and manually install using the directory it uses in my second question.
The only other question is - will Karamba things made for KDE3.x still function in KDE4.x, or is it touchy or no go?
Thanks in advance.
