Is there a Cross-FileManager Menu Editor?

I am looking for a program which can configure menu scripts in Nautilus, Thunar, PCMan, Dolphin, etc. I want to write a menu script once, such as one which would "scan folder with clamtk" or "search within folder using catfish" and have it work on any machine I use. Each of these file managers have their own methods of modifying the left-click (for right-handed mice configurations) menu that pops up. I want a program which will read a generic configuration file, figure out which file manager(s) are/is installed, and translate its configuration file into that of the installed file manager's configuration method and update.

Thanks.

Probably can be done by writing a configure script for all the different file managers and then use a bash script to check and use the correct one.
