If you have Gnome and KDE installed on the same machine, you should be able to start the Gnome mixer (gmix) under KDE, since all the libraries are present.

What does it tell you?

Hi!
After installing "kmixer" this problem was solved.

Cool!

I know that part of the Gnome philosophy is to try to keep things simple.

Sometimes I think they try to keep things too simple.

Hi!
Sorry, I made a mistake :
I installed "tkmixer / KDE" and it works on KDE!
