How do I set the file manager in KDE to show the detailed list view by default?
What is the easiest way to see the used space in a partition? Like a status bar or a context menu option. I know about the separate tool to see the disk usage statistics, that is not what I am seeking.

In konqueror, go to the View menu and select view mode detailed list view.

Then go to the Settings menu and save view profile.

Thanks,

I post a daily 'blog and icon view just doesn't do it! I'm glad I had a little time to search this preference. It will make my daily work much easier!
