I'm using Kubuntu 6.06 and the browser is firefox 1.5

Have you looked at the Ubuntu Guide? It has answers to nearly all your questions related to Ubuntu, including how to install flash player.

Regards!

I know there are a couple of other threads where I've mentioned Automatix for Ubuntu users because it's the easiest method that I know of to install different programs. I know flash is in there. Although, I'm not sure it it will work with Kubuntu. You can give it a shot though.

flash

Just an fyi for anyone else who might be looking for the same answer. Install Automatix as suggested above for most sites and for the sites that require flash 8 to view them: the alternative I used to get it working was install firefox thru wine and then install a flash xpi in the browser. Now my little girl can be entertained while I'm working and I can use it to view sites that I have to.

Cheers
