install redhat on dell pc

i have installed redhat on dell 380 pc, but processing cannot be found harddisk controller. how to i resolve this problem???

Not sure what you are asking. Can you clarify?

What command(s) are you running to look at the HD controller? There is a command 'lshw' run as root that will list details of your hardware. Have you used it? The lshw utility has to be installed on most systems, it is not part of most basic installs. There is a gui front end if you want to use it also.

What version of RedHat are you using? (If the answer is 'RedHat 9' then you are wasting your time. Get the latest Fedora release instead.)

What the actual specifications of the machine (processor, memory, video, etc)? (Saying you're using a dell 380 is too vague, not all dell 380s will be the same.)
