Install not finishing

I messed up my prior installation of Hardy Heron.
So i figured why not reinstall and have separate / /home and /tmp
Well its sorta done that. fstab shows that it will mount them BUT
NO GRUB
I havent a clue how to configure grub. Hardy Heron
Any help will be appreciated.

Can't you just start up the cd again and go right to the GRUB install stage? I know you can in Debian, but not sure about ubuntu.

install not finishing

Im afraid if i do that and there is no grub install stage ill have to go thru the whole install process again.
Im reluctant to do that in any case.

Maybe you could download a Debian net install CD, and go to the GRUB installation stage..I think that would work, I don't see why it wouldn't.
